Powers, Duties and Authority of the Recreation Committee

Township Ordinance �41-3 establishes the Recreation Commission's powers and duties.

A. Assess the recreation needs of the Township of Bethlehem.

B. Recommend policies and standards therefor.

C. Recommend programs to comply with the recreation needs of the Township.

D. Promulgate, adopt and approve such rules and regulations as the Board of Recreation Commissioners shall deem
fitting and proper to carry out its purposes and objectives.

E. Prepare and submit an annual report to the Township Committee.

F. Administer such recreational programs as may be approved by the Township Committee.
